Kifayat Ullah is an accomplished researcher, educator, and academic leader. He embarked on his educational journey by earning a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil, in 2016. Recently, he completed his postdoc on "emergency response system using fog-assisted vehicular ad hoc network for smart cities" at the interSCity lab at USP. FAPESP funded this research project. Kifayat has experience in different areas of computer science. His research interests include smart cities, transportation, vehicular networks, and fog computing. He is an Associate Professor at CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences Peshawar, Pakistan. In addition, he holds the position of Head of the Computer Science Department.
